Langrolay is one of the quietest places we have known, made more so by the huge expanse of estuary water at the edge of the village.
The cottage is situated in the oldest part of the village, within the church square. There is a small shop opposite, bar just up the road, post office and library.
For the kids, there is a village play area and field a few minutes walk from the cottage and as well as the usual swings and climbing frames there is a tennis court.
The village beach is ideal for crabbing off the jetty, having a beach BBQ and some supervised swimming.
The neighbourhood is very welcoming and there is a noticeable pride in the presentation of the village and surrounding areas. Langrolay is very accessible and central to activities and facilities. It is full of Brittany's character and this is particularly represented in its rural feel. The climate and soil is perfect for agricultural produce and you can easily find top quality meat, fish and vegetables in the markets.
