Langrolay is one of the quietest places we have been, made more so by the huge expanse of estuary water at the edge of the village.
The cottage is situated in the oldest part of the village, within the church square. There is a small shop opposite, bar just up the road, post office and library.
For the kids, there is a village play area and field a few minutes walk from the front gate and as well as the usual swings and climbing frames there is a tennis court.
The beach is ideal for crabbing off the jetty, having a beach BBQ and some supervised swimming.
"We have enjoyed many strolls around the village and down to the river, including crabbing off the jetty" – P. Lock U.K.
"The Rance offers such variety and the local beaches and everchanging coast line offers may surprises" – Ann and Janet U.K.
